Hi all! Apologies for the lack of posting but yesterday I took off on a road trip that will take me through Lake Placid and then Canada.  I have never explored any northern parts of New York or North America, so I am loving the miles and miles of trees and lush foliage.  I promise to post next week when I get back and document all the pictures I took on my trip.  Enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend darlings!! xo

Friday Favorites

This week has been great.  I had a lot of time during the days to paint and read and catch up on "me" time. A lot of weeks I get caught up in the web and blogging and social media and find it hard to check out and actually spend quality time with myself.  But this week I found myself only checking my google reader once every few days and it was nice, really nice.  Instead of sharing actual posts I loved this week, I am going to do what I love most and share with you a post of inspirational quotes, pictures and prints. 2011 Cannes Film Festival Fashion Favorites

There has been some amazing fashion this year at the Cannes Film Festival.  A lot of times I find myself not really connecting to red carpet fashion, it can be hard to really envision yourself ever wearing any of the gowns and outfits.  BUT this time, so many of the gowns below could definitely be hanging in my closet for a great spring/summer event in NYC.  What are some of your favorites from Cannes this year? Radio Silence

Took a few days off from blogging and tweeting and the web to focus on my painting and other interests.  I think once in awhile it is so great to step back from it all and take a deep breath.  Been seeing so much great fashion, inspiration and lifestyle pictures and posts around the web that I will have to share with you when I return.  Hoping to get a new post up tomorrow!
